Rambert and reactions to dance

This was really interesting I always mean to see more dance and was really gutted to miss out on ticket's for the Pina Bausch event, having cried repeatedly during Pina at the cinema.

I found Pina to be an incredible experience - have never had a night in the theatre like that. Really worth getting to see them next time Tanztheater Wupperthal are back in the country.

I've seen Rambert many many times and I love that sort of zoned-out thinky headspace I can get into when watching them. I do my best thinking at Rambert - it's like therapy. Not sure that's the intended reaction but it's one of the reasons I keep going back.

Interesting. I'm not sure there's supposed to be a set reaction to art or dance or music - if that's what you're getting out of it, it must be doing something right. I'm just not very good at that whole mindfulness thing, so frequently look for something else.

Will you get a chance to see this Rambert programme?

Not sure. I have a Rambert buddy I usually go with but she's out of the country right now. I probably won't get up the motivation to go by myself.
