the partial "freeze" relates only to the west bank, & says nothing about east jerusalem, where they declared 900 homes to be built in one of the largest settlements there this week. the "freeze" still allows for the "natural growth" of the settlements too, of course. palestinian homes receive demolition orders if they are built in area c [the 72% of the west bank under full israeli control - anywhere outside the limits of cities, towns & some villages], so i guess natural growth can't work both ways
