I used to recomend Gap for bags because they were functional but their prices have jumped a bit as of late. Target is another great place to find bags. And of course, never hurts to do a quick search on ebay.

I know mail order is slow, but sometimes it's cheaper to pay the shipping than the gas & taxes.

I go walmart - cheap and i like their style. i'm wondering if you're like me and want the long strap for the across-the-body trick. if so, here's one i really liked:

As far as purses go, I've always had luck at Gordman's - if you have one around where you are. They've got a decent selection for fairly cheap. I found my last 2 there... :)
