For the sake of spinsaweb....

Siryn looked over the assembled. "Right. Derek and Claire, start combing through his New York. Anyone who's good at tracking, you're with them. Dr. Harper, that means you and your hounds, I'm thinking. Eiko, how are ye at processing a crime scene, should we find one? And who'll be tending to Sarah while this is going on?"

It's been a day and a half since Peter died, and he's still lying there, cold and twisted in that alleyway near Hell's Kitchen. He's back in a corner, partly covered by trash, and it's far too cold for much ... of a smell to have set in. That's probably why no passerby has found him yet.

Wouldn't you figure.

The stench of the Hudson assualts Derek's nose as soon as the PINpoint dumps him at the edge of Hell's kitchen. He snarls, but it's too late to be ready to block the sensory violence. Instead, he takes several shallow breaths, forcing out the immediate sting and vile until it regulates into something tolerable ( ... )

Greed stops his travels as he smells a familiar scent. His eyes search frantically, as he closes in on the scent of the being he knew only as Spiderman. He spots Derek as he closes in, and meets him part-way.

"Yo man, what's up? I heard the Spider got whacked!"

Derek pauses, whipping around at the voice. For a moment, distracted by his own intent, he looks wild and ready to literally tear the face off anyone in his way.

The look fades quickly though, and he straightens.

"Greed," he nods, "Yeah. I'm looking for him. Scent says he came this way."

Melinda gnaws on her lip, but other than that she's pretty calm. She has a large backpack slung over her back and a cellphone. There's a can of mace with her, too.

Listening, she waits for any orders Siryn gives to her.

"Melinda, what I said to Claire about PINpointing out is doubled for you. Stick with the other searchers as much as ye can."

The teenager nods. "I will. I'll stick with them. I'm a pretty fast walker, so I should be able to keep up."

Nate's 'voice', such as it is, sounds very strained at the moment. Find anything yet?

No. I'm riding shotgun in alot of heads at the moment. Seeing the world through 1,207 different pairs of eyes at the same time ain't easy.

I'll be 'listening' in case you find something.

"Bloody. Stupid computer system. I wouldn't use that system to wash me socks. If I wore socks, anyway."

Holly looks at Siryn and Hippolyta. "Sorry, ladies, didn't get anyfing. But I'll take another goosey at it as you search."

Ether shows up for the search late and he doesn't look like he's in a good shape for it, either. He's clutching his forehead with his free hand, like in a case of massive headache, and muttering quietly to himself. If you listen carefully, it's mostly heavy cursing spiced up with British slang.

"Hey, kids. Does anyone here have a computer with a city map?" He asks, slowly trying to regain his composure. It's noticable now that he's clutching a DVD in his free hand. "I have some clues on where to look."
