An interesting essay. I'm afraid I haven't familiar enough with the subject to be able to add any insights. May I ask if there was something specific that prompted you to write this in your journal?

Okay...that was long and rambling and hard to follow.

To each his own.

But please, if you have nothing to say, just don't say anything - whether it's nice or not.

And also, I'm terribly sorry you're unable to comprehend a simple essay, but don't criticise me for your shortcomings. Next time I propose you don't bother because it won't be any easier.

Why you turn to dead men who admit their defeat for answers, I cannot fathom.

That you are one among silent thousands who asks questions, is telling.

I don’t know if you are asking the right questions. I don’t know much of anything anymore. From how you describe it, Auschwitz doesn’t sound so special to me. The question should be, ‘What is good in a place like the World?’

I’ll see you around, Boot.

Why you have issues with people admitting their defeat, I cannot fathom. Honour and dignity are nothing but ignorant concepts.

If Auschwitz doesn't sound so special, maybe you should read about it. Actually, not just Auschwitz, but Treblinka, Auscwhitz-Birkenau, Dachau, Bergen-Belsen, Theresinstadt, Chelmno, Babi Yar. Then tell me what you think.

I'm sorry I didn't ask about the world. The focus and thesis wasn't so broad. Maybe next time I'll try harder.
