Shoeless

I've gotten into the habit of taking my shoes off when I'm painting rooms. I leave my socks on and put my shoes in a drawer or somewhere protecting them from paint. The other day I forgot I didn't have shoes on and went down to lunch. I don't think anybody in the elevator noticed but once I got to the first floor where it's tiles and not carpet

Yes, the beautician runs the "beauty shop" which is basically just another way to scam these people out of money. She told me at one point that she got "authorization" to cut my hair for free. I told her I didnt want a haircut from her, and brother was she ever pissed that I said that.
