I suppose that still, even eleven years after we all first did this, I need to get used to the fact that the people I love don't all live in the same place. And they won't ever. So I will never have enough time with everyone I want to spend time with.

Probably the best reason to have a wedding. If your boyfriend would just make an honest woman of you you could have a big party with everybody in one spot. And it would only cost you the price of a down payment on a house.

I thought it was customary to not get any real time with your guests at a wedding. So what i really need is for someone with all my same family and friends to have a wedding or other large party every year. Since I'm not the host, I'll have plenty of time to see everyone. Genius!

Hey, I saw people you know and love this weekend! I was at the Jesuit vows for my old SOP roommate Jeff, and John Roselle was doing his vows too (though I never met him). But Valerie and Chris were there, as was Ben Anderson. And KP, Neal Reykdal, and Paddy Gilger from the older SOP days. So fun!
