Had a good Blitz trip down to the Valley for the sister's day of birth. Good food, fun folks, etc. Sorry all you Phoenix folks that we didn't get to see- this was a pretty exclusively fambly trip. Bonus: Awesome hailstorm on the way back up to Flag.

Today a cell phone rang during my English class and my crazy assed professor wrapped the cell phone in a balloon. Like, encased. I'm still not clear on what exactly happened.

Ah, truly tequila is the balm of many ailments. Like not enough sleep and shitty nights at work. And it is a surprisingly good compliment to Zatarain's black beans and rice (with special guest star Hebrew National 'furters.)
In other news I have a nifty (and long overdue) new wallet. It is canvas with a tree and bird silhouettes on it.
