We had a nice weekend.

We stayed at the Hotel Palomar, went to a wedding, and the WNBA All Star game

Can't say I've ever had Ethiopian cuisine. There is only one Ethiopian restaurant in Richmond. What's it like?

That's so cool that you got to see the All Star game. Was the skills competition on the same night as the actual game?

Oh! When I was at the grocery store in Myrtle Beach the other day, we were picking up a few items. In the cereal aisle, I saw a box of Wheaties that had Pat Summitt/UT on it. I almost bought a box with you in mind, but thought, "They probably have this everywhere. And even if they don't, would Tonya WANT this?"

You know, I thought the box would be everywhere, too, but I've never seen it up here! I think in theory I'd want a box, but the reality is what am I going to do with a cereal box? I fight inner packrat.

Ethiopian food is pretty similar to Indian food, but the bread isn't as good. It's worth trying! I mean, the wedding stuff was actually pretty good as far as Ethiopian food goes, but it's not ever going to be at the top of my list of must eats.

They held the skills and the 3-point contest starting around 2pm, so it went on right before the game started.

wow ethiopian at a wedding? that is a bold choice! i love ethiopian but i can just see my waspy family picking away at the food and then bad talking me later. hahahah - god love em!

Happy Birthday and congratulations on the anniversary. It must be really special to go to an All-Star game of a sport you love and seeing all the faces old and new.
