Something smelled awful in the house this morning. I was positive I was going to find a decomposing mouse under the couch, but it turns out it was Bea's bedding in her crate. She hadn't peed on it or anything, but it just smelled really gross. I got her a new bed at Costco tonight and came home and threw out the old one. I was still smelling ( Read more... )

Good luck at the dentist!! I have some notion what you're going through; there is no pain quite like tooth pain. When I was 13, I had the most excrutiating toothache, which I think contributed to the migraine I was suffering at the same time. I would have welcomed death if it would have ended my agony. Believe you me, I was PSYCHED to go to the dentist because I knew he'd put a stop to the pain--never thought I'd be grateful for a root canal, but there you have it. It was a treat compared to that toothache.

i keep meaning to download "the wire". i read an article praising this season so i want to watch it but i feel like i should see the others first!

good luck with the dentist. i don't know what your dental insurance situation is, but if you end up needing a root canal, you should try to see an endodontist. i think they can knock you out!

Oh, you absolutely should start with Season 1. It is a phenomenal show and I think you and Nathan would both love it!

Good tip on the endodontist. The practice I'm going to has another guy whose specialty is root canals, so we'll see what they say. Hopefully I don't need one, but knowing my luck...

I KNOW! I have to tell you that I am super paranoid about smelling. For a while, I kept smelling something awful at work, but no one else really noticed it. I was convinced it was me, but it turns out it was the vent over my cube blowing out stinky air.

I can just imagine how humiliated Bea would be getting a blow-dry.

That's why I like cats...they are self-cleaning ;)
