First things first: I never broke up with my old dentist, so I have to go to my cleaning with her tomorrow. We saw Dolly in concert Monday night and she was lovely! I'm not a fan of the venue - the Patriot Center at GMU - but our seats were good and, for the first time ever, were in a row where people weren't up and down constantly. Part of the ceremony I managed to see was when Alyssa played with our friend Amy on the flute and Danielle on the piano. I got it on video using our new little Flip video camera. I will be thankful on Sunday night when the reception is over. I have a lot of loose ends needing to be tied up, but I don't have energy to email everyone to get things more organized. I'm tired of dealing with idiocy.

I will be a better LJer next week, my friends. I just have to get through the weekend.

I accidentally locked Gordon in our bedroom yesterday morning when I left for work. I always check to make sure I'm not incarcerating any animals, but I ran into the bedroom at the last minute to grab something else and I guess Gordon followed behind. It also didn't register that he didn't greet me at the front door with Weaver when I got home. ( Read more... )
