I had heard good things about the camping at TRF, so I thought I would give it a try.
I'm glad I did.

First of all, I had always left a little early to avoid the 1-2 hour line to get out after the fair closes, and thus I never before saw the very impressive fireworks display.

I have gone and camped (pretty much) every year since 1997 or so. I went for the day but didn't get to camp last year, I'm *so* jonesin'. Camping *is* half the fun...some years it's been more like 3/4 to 7/8ths of the fun! (Just depends who you go with & where you camp!)

I'm going this weekend, but experimenting with hotel camping with friends. We'll see how that goes. &, if finances and other things shake out well, I think I'm going the final weekend (24th/25th) and camping with the housemates, who have never camped at faire before. That will be fun, if it happens.

BTW, There's plenty o' scary stuff out in the campgrounds late at night, I can't say I'd even put you in the top 10 :P
