I have a piece of fruit in my oven

Which is a play on mistborn's use of Limebaby, gleaned (probably) from WhattoExpect.com's size description of the fetus in their week by week guide. Vraknan and I are going with Fruitbaby, even though week 14 the size is described as a clenched fist. Personally, I think it's funny to say I have a Goa'uld in my stomach ( Read more... )

Ohmygosh congrats!!
I just wish we were all in the same city, heh.

Personally, I think it's funny to say I have a Goa'uld in my stomach. ;)

It does sound funny, but that's totally what it looks like!

Congratulations! I'm so excited and happy for you!

If the Goa'uld is in your stomach, does that make you a Jaffa? :)

Thanks

The health benefits of being a Jaffa are nice, but quality of life . . . not so much, so I'll pass. ;)

P.S. Did you get my email about Federal Aid for First Time Home Buyers?

Plus, you don't want to have to get a forehead tattoo. You know, with the war in Canada and all.

It's funny because everyone is going on about how recessions cause a drop in the birth rate, but I know like 6 ladies personally apart from me who are pregnant and due this summer. I'm assuming it's due more to my age group and all the Mormons I know.

(My elder's quorum president dropped by a few weeks ago and was all surprised when he saw my belly sticking out. We hadn't really told anyone in the ward explicitly up to that point. I'm like what - you've never seen a pregnant Mormon woman before??)

::laugh::

Yeah, this seems to be the Year of the Babies around here too. There's like, ten women in our ward who are either pregnant or just had a baby within the past three months.

Woo hoo! Congratulations! So are you hoping for a girl this time, or are you comfortable with the whole boy thing?

Oh, totally want a girl. I have way more girl names than boys names. In fact I think all the grandmas and even Vraknan want a girl. But I think I could adjust to the all boy thing.
