I got in line to vote at 6:30 am, and was out and eating an Egg McMuffin by 7:15. The crowd was terribly cheerful. Of course, I was standing with people who thought I was funny and couldn't quite figure out why I was wearing a blue button with Hebrew on it---I'm assuming it said Obama 2012---And thence to the first of my court appearances. We are all retching at the thought of Roy "Ten Commandments" Moore being Chief Justice here...I hope all of your family are safe after the storm? And, hopefully you have the same PO box, if I can find my address book? I am knitting! :mwah:

Well - that sounds like an interesting day. I wish someone would get on with inventing the system to let us e-mail nutella... and other things, of course, but especially nutella!

What a day! I just spent mine (after voting) trying to recover from being in the ER with FiL until 3am (he fell and did a number on his head. I now know what an actual skull, still attached to an actual living person looks like. But I don't think I would trade.

The best thing about being a parasite on Society (i.e. a stay-at-home mother whose kids are all grown, yes I work at home but it's not 9 to 5 , an artist can work whenever they want) is wearing whatever you want all day. I don't think I even have a pair of panty hose anymore!
