At tryouts for the high school football team, the coach spied a strapping young country boy in the back row.
"Are you interested in being a quarterback, son?" the coach asked.
The boy smiled. "I guess. What do I have to do?"
The coach held up the football. "You have to pass this."
The boy thought for a long moment, then spoke. "Well, if I can swallow it, I sure can pass it."
