I have been an anchorite for 30 years now but I still remember the excitement of moving into a new home (and the frustration of moving my cats into said new home!) Is baby gate sufficient to keep cats on screened porch? It would have had to be 8' tall to keep my cats in (i.e. reached ceiling). Very glad you are away from apartment and awful neighbors. At least you can unpack at your leisure. Hubby insisted everything had to be unpacked in 2 days. I promised to kill him and hide the body should we ever do that again. See living in same house for 30 years...
