lol. Guess it's not really that exciting but still, seeing as he's not exactly busy career wise I have to settle for watching his love life - and I won't appologize for that; I am a nozy git!
You're right, I should follow the BK motto a bit more - I just felt it was time I at least acknowledged that I had disappeared witout a trace. Now I can take LJ breaks without feeling guilty anymore as I have already explained the situation.

Hopefully quieter times will come to you soon. Hectic is ok, but not in the long-term. Is your thesis/degree thingy is going well?
You know, I'm really finding it hard to think of what to nominate this year. There's been fics I've liked but nothing that I can remember as having a wow factor that was consistent throughout. Most of the things I liked had good and bad patches and my intention of bookmarking the good fics along the way didn't work at all.
I can't think of anything you have particularly missed either.
You need to write again so I can have something to nominate next time ;)
I didn't know exactly which categories you were eligible in but I nominated you for a few things anyway, including one for your fabulous Sloth of a beta reader!
Everyone should read your story and fall in love with Michael.

Anyway, don't stress about LJ, you don't owe it comments and entries, you write them when you feel like it. :)
I'm not going to defriend you, no worries. I think we've clicked somehow, and I want to keep people like that on my f-list, even if they aren't very active.

You're right, and I won't stress about it too much - I'll just come by and enjoy LJ when I get the chance now, and then hopefully people will take pity and leave me on their f-lists so I still have folks to visit. I'm glad you're staying :)
Nothing really terrible has happened, just normal RL crap but also some nice stuff, it's just life you know, and it needs my attention. I'll be back here sometimes when I can.

It's OK with taking a break, we all need it sometimes. It's OK too to write nothing new if you don't feel like this.

It's really great to see a post from you, sweetie! I've been really busy with RL the past month or so and I completely understand what you mean by "drive by" comments! LOL I was using that exact term last week in fact. the 50+ comments on my flist every night can be very overwhelming, but I do my best to leave short comments here and there just to stay in touch and you should do that, too.
I would really like to stay on your flist. Roomie introduced us so I could read your wonderful story, but I really enjoyed all of our conversations when I posted comments! :) You never know where life will lead you--there may come a time when you have more time for lj.
