I love how conflicted Michael is -- his vulnerablility really shows through. You've made this character into flesh and bone with feelings and emotions so that it's ahrd to remember he's not real. Lovely. Cheers, rb

Thank you RB. This chapter was sort of spontanious - I didn't plan to have it but because a lot of comments mentioned the "blonde guy" with Michael I felt I needed to go with it (and indeed I think it improved the story, as I couldn't really see Michaels not trying something here!). I'm so impressed myself with the readers and how they have taken to the characters. When I first started off I wouldn't have thought a whole chapter centering on 3 fictional people would have been possible, but it seems people didn't even really thing about that... Seems Michael has become as "real" as Orlando and people don't mind following him at times, something I'm very happy about as he was always half the story to me.
Thanks again for taking the time to comments "half way" before leaping to the next ch.

It was great having this part be totally focused on Michael and getting to see how he handled things w/Orlando gone, but still plaguing his every thought :P

Loved Emily giving Michael a 'talking to' :)

Yeah; Michael is more affected by Orlando and the situation than he wants to admit. Good on Emily, sometimes you need girls to make men see sense :p
