Hey tessa first YAY YOU ARE BACK ON LJ I have really missed your posts.
Secondly I can't imagine how hard it is for you to deal with raising lilly and not having enough energy.
My boss Brad who is a really caring guy has two young ones I think 7 and 5 now and his wife has MS and I know she gets really tired and stuff too. If you want I can ask him if itw ould be ok for you to email her and talk about being a mom and being sick.
Glad someone missed me :) Always makes a person feel good!
Yeah it gets rough. I could live with the fact I only had enough energy each day to either dedicate myself to cleaning or Lily but more often than not I cant do either. So then we I CAN do stuff I over compensate due to guilt and getting so far behind on cleaning. Which is bad, cause then I overwork myself.
What exactly is MS? Did he say how bad it effected her? IT was nice last night when I explained my situation and how guilty I feel for not being as interactive as I would love to be. But they reassured me that me just being there for her is enough, since I can verbally connect with her a lot (which is actually the part we need to work on more) and all that stuff. Its always nice to hear from other people that its ok, but to hear it from people who have been in my shoes really helps put the wind back in my sail.
You can give him my email ifyou want. tessabaker27@gmail.com
And I know she has days where she just doesn't want to get out of bed and has to take so many drugs.
I will talk to him this afternoon. I have hung out with Nicole (his wife) alot and she is such a sweet heart. She also is on the board for the Wisconsin Womens Health Foundation and might be able to point you in the direction of more help.
:( I can't even imagine what you're going through right now, but I will offer my help if you need it. I don't know what good I would be to you, but seriously, I can do more than just call your cell phone when lily plays with it. ;) So if you ever need someone to come by, I'm not that far.. but you know that!
Things WILL get better, you are a good person and you want them to get better. It's not like you're not trying, it'll all just take time.
Nice to see your posts again, Tessa! :) It breaks my heart to hear what you have been going through. I can't imagine how hard it must be to go through that and also care for Lily at the same time.
I hope things get better for you soon. Eamon and I are due for a visit. Yeah, I know, we keep saying that, but I promise we will try to schedule something soon.
