Why do I do things like this?

Hi Rachel :) I'm doing the Honours thing too and yes I have had many thoughts of leaving. I'm impressed to hear that you've decided to stick it out. Think i'll try and do the same. Good luck :) Delz.

Send me details chicky. After all this, you're going to feel so good when you finish. Just think about that. Did this person offering you a job say whether it'd still be available when you've finished?

It was at Australian Renewable Fuels. They've just opened a plant at Port Adelaide. It was basically an analytical job, but you worked under the lab manager and above the lab techs on a 4 day on 4 day off roster. The scary thing was that you were on call the 4 days you were on so that if something stuffed up at 3am you were the one that had to go out there and fix it (bit hard with no car). The guy said they were very impressed with the interview and to give them a call when I finished honours, so there is potential!

Rotten hours, sounds similar to the 12 hour shift people at Hardys.
But really, there's no problem. You finishing honours is going to show your dedication, and the job might still be there when you're done.
So stress less, it'll all come together in the end!

And...
HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY!! (for last Tuesday!) I hope you got my message and that you at least did something special amongst all the stressful honours stuff.
