okay, um, just for the record, paella isn't soup. it's a rice dish. with saffron. and delicious baby octopus. and other succulent sea creatures. and sometimes some chicken. or sausage. and vegetables. but yeah.

NOT SOUP.

and NO, i get pin cushion bunnies. because i will make you REAL potatoes and REAL salsa, not silly mistress nancy virtual potatoes and virtual salsa. and for the record, i too have made you potatoes sooo many times. word.

also, how would one contrive to attend a jubilee without being stuck on the alabama coastline for an entire summer?

i wouldn't. i'd find us a hostel and we'd just stay there and wait.

i think it would be amazing to go to jubilee, even though i am vegan. seafood is the one thing i actually still crave - not cheese (what i though i would miss the first time i went vegan), but seafood. also, i am not vegan because i morally object to killing animals, but because i think the way we're killing animals is disgusting, unsustainable and disconnected. so if i ever went to something like jubilee, i might just go ahead and catch some seafood for myself to eat..

yeah seafood is actually the only type of meat i've NEEEEEEEEEVER eaten. ever. like, my mom's family has some weird aversion to seafood so i never ate it growing up.

i would gladly eat bacon if it washed up somewhere. seriously. mmm.
i miss bacon always.

have you tried any of the bacon alternatives? they can be quite freakin' good...

yeah my former roomie megan used to make me smart bacon back when we moved here a few years back.
the joke was always "TESSES DON'T KNOW ITS NOT BACON!!!" (like that dog thing, beggin' strips?)

every year on my birthday i indulge in a BLT though. i have to, otherwise i could never stick to being vege.
