I just recieved this today. I googled the phrase to see if one of my friends was randomly messaging me with a quote or lyric as they are wont to do and came up with this explanation linked through another explanation.

you're not the only one. this happened to me last night, and thanks to the help of this lj entry, the girl I was talking to and I figured out what was going on. we need to figure out who's doing this and why, but in the meantime, this lj entry is a great resource. thanks for figuring things out, haha.

oh, and I also found that the girl I talked to on the other end had the same birthday as I do. maybe this is one of the bot's filters?
