Trek was awsome!!

This movie rocked. Yes, they hit the reset button, and yet I can forgive them. Far exceeded my expectations in terms of humor, plot, and heart. I loved the characters - even ones I didn't love the first time around. I feel more idealistic about the future of our planet. This will be the biggest blockbuster of the season hands down.

Yeah. This is the first Retcon, of any kind, that I can fully accept. I don't think they needed to introduce all the old characters immediately, or all the old lines - but all of it was well done.

But damn it, Jim, that *wasn't* a fencing blade Sulu was using on the drill head.

I can't believe I still laugh at bad Russian accents. I feel like I literally forgot how much I loved classic Trek.
