Summary: Jin and Kazuya made a rule - whenever meeting up and one turns up late, said late person becomes the bottom. What happens when an unexpected circumstance presented itself to the pair?
Chapter Seventeen
Kame groaned as he felt pain in the general area of his abdomen. “Ouch.” He muttered.
“Awake already, sweetie?” Jin rushed to his side.
“Where’s everyone?” Kame’s voice was hoarse and his eyes widened in remembrance. “My babies?! Where are they?!” He tried to get up from the bed but failed miserably.
Jin patted Kame’s head reassuringly. “They’re in the nursery. Everyone’s there, watching over them.”
“My consciousness was on and off the entire time they were operating on me but I can definitely remember the nurses showing me three babies!”
Jin chuckled. “That’s right.” He lightly kissed Kame’s forehead before continuing. “Two boys and a girl.”
“I can’t believe it. Three?!”
“Yes. Two identical boys and one fraternal girl.” Jin beamed. “We got three kids on our first try!”
Kame scowled. “First try?!” His voice hitching a bit. “Why? Are you planning to add more?! Three of your spawns are already enough, thank you very much! I don’t think I can--” Kame began his incoherent babbling and Jin shut the younger man up with a tender kiss on the mouth. “Wait, three?!” Kame exclaimed as soon as their lips parted.
“Yes, three.” Jin confirmed as he ruffled Kame’s locks. “Are you disappointed... or mad at me?”
Kame couldn’t form any coherent thought other than, “Three?!” He began sobbing. “Why three?!” He covered his eyes and yelled dramatically. “Good Lord, what have you done to me?!” After a few awkward minutes, he turned to Jin accusingly. “I want to see my babies! Why are you keeping my babies away from my sight?!”
“But I was not--”
“YOU! Get my babies in here or so help me God... I really will--”
“But Kame they’re supposed to be--”
“What? Are you depriving me of the right to see my children?!” Kame right then and there, looked just about to chew Jin out while the latter tried to placate his partner. “I’m the one who carried them on my damned tummy for 23 long weeks!” The new father of three glared at his so-called partner, also known as the father of his children. “That’s almost six months, you... you...” Kame tried to find a word that would best describe what Jin is being like to him now.
Jin grinned, a little entertained. He can so remember this happening earlier. “Nincompoop?” He supplied.
“Yes! A nincompoop!” Kame was ready to cry from frustration. “Or an asshole, you choose!”
An amused snigger was heard from the doorway. “So I take it that you already told Kame?” Tackey grinned as he entered the room.
Tsubasa shook his head in disbelief. Tackey was just as incorrigible as when they were still younger. He still hadn’t overgrown his hobby of teasing Jin or getting his kohai in trouble with Kame.
“What?! What was he supposed to tell me?” Kame glanced back and forth at Jin and Tackey. “You’re not allowing me to see my babies and now you’re hiding something from me?!”
“Shut up!” Jin glared at his senpai. He was not about to tell Kame THAT when the younger man is in such a fickle mood. And definitely not when his partner just woke up from the c-section operation. No thank you. Now that he has his little angels, he values his life now more than ever. Also, he does not want the man who gave birth to those angels become a murderer at his expense, not when he can help it.
Tackey just amusedly stuck his tongue out at Jin.
“Tsubasa-senpai, what the hell are these two talking about?” Kame turned to the older man with a pleading gaze.
Tsubasa sighed and entered the room. He took a stool and sat on it. He took Kame’s hand and enveloped it between his own. “Don’t mind them. You know how Tackey loves to irritate Jin.”
“Hey!” Tackey protested.
“Really?” Kame asked, one hundred percent believing what Tsubasa said. When Tsubasa nodded, Kame turned to Tackey, a look of disapproval clear on his face. “YOU! Stop irritating my Jinjin!”
Tsubasa tried to hide is amusement by puckering his lips together. He didn’t want to get on Kame’s bad side.
“My Jinjin?” Tackey repeated, glancing at Jin who just shrugged. He turned his gaze back to the youngest man in the room. “But-- but I thought you like it when I tease your Jinjin?”
Kame paused to think. “I do?”
“Yes!” Tackey cried out.
“Hmmm...” Kame pursed his lips and then nodded. “Okay.”
“What? That’s it? Aren’t you going to ask him to stop doing it?” Jin was shocked beyond belief. He thought Kame was going to be on his side with this.
“Sorry. It’s the medicines kicking in my system.” Kame apologized. “I don’t want to regret doing something while drugged. Maybe when I’m sober.”
“What the--?” Jin shook his head. “Fine.” He pouted a little. If Kame noticed, he didn’t say anything about it.
“I’m tired.” Kame suddenly announced.
“Okay.” Tsubasa immediately stood up from his seat and hurried to drag Tackey out of the room before the younger man sprout something that could possibly irritate Jin or Kame.
“We’ll see you tomorrow then, Kazu-chan~” Tackey said, waving his goodbye.
Jin gave out a big sigh and closed the door. “What about the babies? Do you want to see them now?”
Kame yawned. “Please?” His eyes moistened up a bit. “Before I sleep?”
“Okay... I guess I’ll ask the nurses if they can bring the babies here...”
“Thank you.” Kame gestured for Jin to come close to him.
When Jin did, he was surprised to get a kiss on the cheek from the younger man. “What was that for?” He asked, lightly touching his still moist cheek.
“You don’t like it?” Kame pouted.
“No, it’s just that I was surprised.”
“Sorry...”
“No, it’s nothing to be sorry about!” Jin smiled widely. Kame never did want to be affectionate with him that openly so it took him aback when Kame kissed him voluntarily on the cheek. “I’ll just head over to the nurses station and tell them about the babies. I’ll be back in a jiffy. Just rest until they get the babies over here, okay?”
Kame nodded and closed his eyes to get a quick rest. Maybe he should have asked Jin to tell the nurses to give him painkillers. His abdomen suddenly started hurting.
Without him noticing it, he fell into a deep slumber without meaning to do so.

Haha, it’s a small gesture of mine to thank you girls for still being here with me, being patient with me and my writing. I mentioned this a lot before, I wanted to stay away from this and Maybe This Time because I don’t feel enough emotion on my writing... hopefully this didn’t come out so bad as I think it did. (^_~)
