Title: Oblivion
Pairings: Akame
Summary: Look outside, it’s snowing. Little did he know-

“Are you free tonight?” Kame asked Jin casually, as he flipped through the contacts of his phone.

“No.” As always, Jin didn’t want to create an opportunity to be alone with Kame.

“Why are you doing this to me? I just want us to be friends again.” Kame tiredly asked.

“Don’t you get it? I no longer want to do anything with you anymore.”

“What’s changed? I don’t really understand you anymore, Jin.”

“I grew up. We both grew up.” Jin dismissed the matter with a wave of a hand, but Kame wasn’t about to allow Jin to do that.

“What, so with growing up, you became indifferent, but only with me?”

“Kamenashi, I’m tired of this.” Jin raked fingers through his hair. “I’m going. I have someone waiting for me at home.”

“A new girlfriend?” Kame inquired.

“No. You know I don’t like strings-attached-type-of-relationships. I hate complications.”

“Well, at least that hasn’t changed about you.” Kame bitterly smiled.

“Whatever. Bye.” Jin turned to leave, but stopped when Kame muttered something under his breath.

“I love you, Jin. I will always do.”

“Yeah? Well, I don’t. Get that inside your fucking head.” Jin acidly replied before leaving in a huff.

“You won’t even greet me happy birthday, huh?”

-----
Touches here and there, and his body against the soft but heavenly curve of a very beautiful woman, Jin wouldn’t want to ask anything more.

For him, this was heaven.

Pushing Kaela, his beautiful companion, towards the direction of his bed, he forcefully engaged them into a heated kiss. Whatever fervor he gave, Kaela returned it twice.

Until the insistent ringing of his mobile phone irritated his companion, that led Kaela to break off their kiss.

“Damn it. Just answer the damn phone already so we can continue.”

Jin kissed the corner of her lips, and stood up to answer the call without checking who it was. “What up? I hope you know what kind of hell I can give you for interrupting a very good time.”

“Oh, sorry. I just-”

“Shit. Kame? What the fuck man, I already told you to get lost. Could you not take a hint? Geez, you’re even worse than Taguchi.”

“I’m sorry. This is the last time. I swear I won’t bother you anymore after this.”

“What do you want this time?”

“Look outside the window.”

“What? Don’t be ridiculous.”

“Please. Look outside.”

Jin could practically feel Kame shivering through his teeth. Just to get it finished, he did what was asked of him. Parting the curtains away, he saw Kame outside with his left hand holding an umbrella, and his right hand holding his phone.

“It’s late this year for Tokyo, but it’s snowing.”

Jin could see the younger man giving him a small smile.

“Sorry for bothering you. I just- I wanted to let you know.”

“Idiot.” Jin growled, but without malice. He loved snow, but Tokyo doesn’t really get much of an opportunity to have snow falling in the winter. “But thanks for letting me know, although I would have noticed it sooner or later.”

Kame gave a small laugh. “I know. Have a good life Jin.” With that, Kame cut the connection, waved a small goodbye at Jin who was still by his window and left just like that.

Jin shook his head. Kame gets weirder as they grow up.

“Done with the phone call?” Kaela asked.

“Yeah.” Jin turned his phone to silent, and pounced on the woman.

They didn’t hear the skidding sounds outside, or the sound of ambulance coming and going.

With his phone on silent, Jin also didn’t know how many times his phone rang.

-----
“Get this damn door open, right now, or I swear I will burn this house!”

Jin woke up to Koki’s insistent knocking and cursing outside of his door.

“I thought this is your holiday?” Kaela grouchily asked.

“Yeah, it is.” Jin stood up. “Stay in bed. I’ll handle this.” He said, kissing Kaela full on the lips before answering his door.

As soon as he opened the door, he was met with Koki’s fist.

“Kame, he-” Koki broke down and cried on Jin’s doorway. “Damn you, you asshole! Even with his last breath, he- all he could say was Jin, look outside, it’s snowing.”

A/N: Okay, so now, I officially suck writing Akame.

Just totally ignore the snowing in Tokyo part. Like really, I’m not entirely sure, but I think it doesn’t snow there. Only in the northern part of Japan, or at least that’s what Yumiko-san, the Japanese I tutored for like a month, said. Then again, she might me referring to Chiba-ken only... ^^;; But, yeah, Chiba and Tokyo is just near so... gaah! Nevertheless, like I said, just ignore the technicality part of this fic XD

Kame-chan, I’m sorry, but this is my present for you this year. *dies* Happy birthday, dearest turtle~ ♥ an advanced one, that is... because I don’t think I’d be able to post this on your actual birthday.

Liked it? Hated it? Let me know with your comment! Mwahahaha!
