Your list last year (for 2009) so inspired me that I kept my own list of what books I had read during 2010 (my list is on paper and I'm missing a couple months so I don't know if I'll get to typing it up like you have)
I really enjoyed keeping a list, I'd never done that before. I tried to add a few lines about what I liked or didn't like about each book and I've gone back to refer to it several times. Thanks for the inspiration!
I used to keep a proper journal with a plot summary and/or my opinion of the book. But in 2007 (I think?) my computer ate a huge chunk of journal :( and when I returned to keeping a list, I just kept...a list. Nothing fancy.
I also used to belong to a couple of book clubs on Yahoo Groups, and having a few sentences about each book I read was useful when I had a place to share them regularly. I left both book clubs at some point when I was trying to spend less time online (ha!) and so lost that motivation to keep a longer journal, as well.
Rowan has been napping consistently every afternoon and going to bed consistently by 8:30 every night (except for the nights it takes four hours to get her to bed, but that's another story). So I have time to cross-stitch, or read, or watch TV, or use my computer. Please note that I do not mention things like mopping and vacuuming. ;)
