My e-mail account got hacked!

Hi all. If you get an odd looking e-mail from me, please ignore it. I didn't send it, but apparently my yahoo e-mail account has been compromised. Sorry if this causes anyone any problems! It might be a good idea to run a virus scan just to make sure. :(

Ellen, it happened to me, too. I hope I didn't cause your problem, because I think you're on my contacts list there. :( :( I emailed Yahoo, but didn't get much in reply except for how better to my email accounts, all of which I had done before an after the hack!!

I wish I knew if it was something that could be spammed looking as though it came from my email, without hacking my account. I'm sorry if I was the perpetrator. :(

No worries, my dear! I've actually gotten the same spammy thing from several people over the last few weeks so apparently it's been going around. I also heard from a few people today that they got hacked as well with this latest round. I reported it too, but I agree that Yahoo won't do much about it. Hackers suck! :(
