equality buyer's guide

JUST in case anyone was wondering, or perhaps if anyone feels like being a responsible, equality-driven citizen, I have here a link that will show you a list of various companies which provide us with daily goods and more; it doesn't end there, though...there are ratings for each company - the higher the number, the better the company's policies ( Read more... )

Thanks for posting this. I was actually on lj to do the same thing. But, I'm glad someone else was out there, as well. In other GLBTQAAIS news, Grinnell was recently named as one of the most Queer-Friendly institutions in the Nation! We're getting an article published about us and EVERYTHING!

Good luck with the rest of your term. I don't know how you're scheduled, but I know it's whacked out.

Good idea in posting this--I actually didn't find this webpage until recently, even though I worked for HRC last summer, but it's helpful to know for lots of reasons. Another awesome website for finding out corporate affiliations generally is www.knowmore.org, which I found out about at a hip-hop concert in Minneapolis last month. It's great because the idea is to add info yourself so that it stays up-to-date, like Wikipedia or something. Lots of issues to think about! Anyway, enjoy your evening and I'm sure I'll see you sometime soon...
