Happy day after, folks!

I came home and opened up my mailbox. In there was a package. Addressed to me -- the "grand genius". Iiiinteresting.

Inside the package was a shirt.woot shirt. The Raven one which I remember gemlikeflame lusted after a bit. I wondered for a moment who would have sent it to me and then I noticed that the shirt was a size smaller

i'm glad you like it. you're not the easiest to shop for, but i happened into that & it seemed suitable. it was a giant plus that it JUST MAGICALLY arrived on philday. :D

You're right -- I'm not easy to shop for. Generally, if I want something, I go out and get it. The best gifts are things which somehow escaped my notice.

I'd seen the Raven shirt before and forgotten it. I wouldn't have bought it for myself at that time, but having stood in the freezing Baltimore cold makes me appreciate it more.

Also, that you got it for me. 8)

You know I don't normally expect friends of mine to give me things. Heck, I don't always give gifts to people and it's rarely on a holiday or birthday that I do, anyway.

Anyway, that makes it just a smidge more awesome when someone thinks enough of me to go "He'd like this thing, so I'm going to get it for him."

i never expect presents either, & i tend to only buy them if i happen upon something that fits particularly well. otherwise, it's just stuff, & i'm not much into stuff for stuff's sake. but anyhow, i hope the medium fits you well, 'cause it looks like it should. X)
