This video actually encapsulates my own eating habits for the past year or so. As you know, I was a vegetarian for years, and I just started re-introducing meat into my diet (mostly fish and shellfish, and if I feel really crazy, bacon...haha). I don't eat it all the time, probably once every two weeks or so, but I can't call myself a "vegetarian" anymore because of it. Weekday vegetarian...I like it.
I say go for it! The first two weeks for me were the hardest, so if you can get through those, you're home free :) After awhile, you don't even really miss the meat because you're able to find crazy ways to pair up different veggies, and you get introduced to foods in cultures that you may not have even known about. Here's one of my favorite recipe websites: www.vegweb.com
If it makes you feel any better (or worse? haha), my family STILL gives me a hard time about what I'm eating (or not eating) and comments that I should add meat to my meal. Yeah, it was kind of funny the first time they joked around about it, but after the 5 millionth time, it just got kind of old...I'm pretty sure they think it's still a phase (even though I've been eating this way since 6th grade...lol). I totally understand family pressure though
