We talked for about 6 hours today. She paid me for time that I had worked for her in the past couple of weeks and also gave me $200 for next week since I am going to go in there and clean the heck out of her shop. Hopefully you're able to sell the house before it gets auctioned off. While you are entitled to the difference between the total owed and the auction price, there are usually bank fees that eat a lot of that up. Selling it is much better than having it forclosed.
Unfortunately for you, the bankrupcy laws just changed and it's harder to do now. You'll have to go to manditory financial counseling (though it is typically done over the phone) and if there is anyway you can do a payment plan, they'll force you into it. In your case it sounds like that won't happen since you're so far in debt.
Do you think that maybe your migraines and sleep problems could be stress related? Hopefully they'll lessen or even go away once you get your finances in order.
