1.[Combat!]
[While you're just going about your business in some peaceful city, you'll notice some a wearing
some rather odd clothes. She's leaning up against a brick wall in an alley way to catch her breath. She's got a few bullet wounds, one in her shoulder, one in her stomach, and one over her heart, but they don't seem to bother her much.]
Hmm...

Hey, wait! What are you doing? I don't think those are... foul servants, or anything like that!

[She keeps talking as she finishes setting up.]
These creatures are the patron animal of a Yhoundeh, a great foe of mine. She is dead now, but they still exist in her place...I had hoped with all the threats facing this world, they had been driven extinct.
[Taking aim...]
This is for you, father.

If she's dead, then they're harmless, right?
Enough things have already gone extinct in the last few decades! We don't need to add to the list!
Reply
...Species go extinct all the time. This is hardly the first, or the last. Something else will come along and fill its niche, I'm sure.
...Ibexes would be nice. I like Ibexes.

Ah, ah...
[And Kaito's there to pull the gun up and away from the elk.]
They're harmless. No need to harm them.

The problem is they're alive.

Consider this a service to the plants.
[She goes back to setting up.]

[Ryou wandered by, sipping a drink. Normally he would have walked on back in Layered, but when he took a second look a spit take would have been involved at the sight of where exactly those shots were and how easily and calmly she spoke.]
What was that about a master?
[The mercenary drew his pistol, this might. Be trouble.]

...Ah. A human. You should leave.
There are men chasing me. In a few seconds, they will arrive, and they will almost certainly shoot you.
[She starts to walk down the alleyway, in the opposite direction from Ryou...and gets about three steps before falling to her knees. Guess those gunshot wounds did matter.]
This much will not kill me. I will survive.
Reply
[Ryou is by no means a good Samaritan. Still...]
Well, if it's a few seconds - I think it won't matter if I stay or go.
[He moves to help the injured girl up.]
Up you get.

[She's just quiet for a bit. Perhaps something is on her mind?]
...There are four of them. Three have Thompson machine-guns and wear masks. The fourth is their leader. He is strange.
[The sounds of a motorcycle can be heard in the distance, coming closer...along with the wail of an electric guitar.]

[There's a hobo coming over to you now Eibon.]
Hey are you alrigh-
[He pauses when he gets a better look at her.]
Wait I swear I've done this before...alleyway, girl with strange clothes, talking about not having a master...AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH
[Then the realization suddenly hits him and he points his finger at you.]
YOU'RE A GRIMOIRE!

[She just stares at Kurou for a bit]
...Ah. A magus.
I take it Black Lodge wins this round, then.
Reply
[Going all out on the sarcasm here. Before he can say anything else however the Black Lodge goons arrive and start firing their Tommy Guns. Now he's just picking up Eibon, putting her on his shoulders, and running like the wind.]
I THINK I'VE DONE THIS BEFORE ALSO!
Reply
[And now she's being carried like a twenty-pound bag of rice over his shoulder. That's surprising, no matter how old you are.]
H-hey! What are you doing?!

The same thing they see in almost every other human... right?
[ Casshern hadn't adjusted very well to life aboard the White Chalice. Humans were... so different from him. And while the rest of what's left of Braiking Boss's old robotic empire was left suffering with no escape from the Ruin, he was leaving the all behind. After that talk with Lyuze... he's starting to feel guilty. Very guilty. He doesn't know what he did, but... it's his fault. Isn't it? ]
I'm probably not qualified to answer that question, though.

Your speech implies you are not human. What are you?
