I think that, in the end, everyone ultimately gets what they deserve. Even if we don't see it, there's some form of justice. It's not just in the "what goes around comes around" sense, but in the divine sense. Unfortunately, sometimes we just have to wait for everything to even out. At the same time, I know that I haven't always been a good person, so I should hope for mercy...at least for myself. It's a double edged sword.

but social justice is different, cos it means that someone else does an injustice to you. like for example, do you think the few years spent on jail for a rapist does justice to the psychological and physical harm to a rape victim? i'm just disillusioned by the way the criminal justice system punishes people, i don't think it's fair.
