As I was in my bank this afternoon, I saw on the TV that Bloomington, IN was voted one of the best cities to live in for 2006. It said, "Especially for singles."

The tellers (who are single too) and I all got a big laugh out of that one.

I don't think there are many places to live that are great for singles, unless you're into going out and picking up strangers for one-night stands...and I'm not. I guess maybe they're referring to the number of available singles, which makes it better when there are more...more chances of meeting that someone special. Hell...I moved to Atlanta, thinking I would meet all kinds of people with it being the "Gay-Metropolis" of the South. Yes, my odds have increased, but there's just more FREAKS to sort through, too. LOL
