I just hope Guiliani wins the GOP primary, so all the social conservatives will stay home and not vote at all.

What is it about Mr Obama that makes you believe in him? (I'm super-ignorant at this point and feel genuinely curious.)

Mainly, he seems to be an intellectual, and someone who, while still a politician, would be willing to what is right over what is politically good for them. Clinton seems too much of a politician, and she is hated by too many people to be a good leader that would unite our nation, instead I think she would just piss off the other side.

I don't think Hilary is as scary as a right wing theocrat... And I think that she is wrongfully accused of a lot of things, but I think she would make decisions more for her political good than for the country's good, and we already have seen the problems with that with the current president. (Al bight she is smarter than the current president.) Also, even if she is hated for illogical reasons, it is clear that she is hated by many people, which would not help unite our nation any more, but would shift the dissatisfaction of our nation from one group to another.

It is interesting that Ron Paul didn't take the Political Courage Test (Although neither did Barack, which is disappointing to me.

There are parts of the Libertarian mental model that are accurate, but unfortunately I don't believe their economic model, and some of their extreme freedoms models are good for society. (Don't get me wrong, I am in general, much more for individual freedoms, but when the head of the local Libertarian party told me he thinks it is ok for each individual to have nuclear weapons in our nation, I got concerned.)

I do appreciate his general belief in Freedom when it comes to Gay Marriage, although he seems to hide this with his belief in States Rights to regulate marriage. Also, while he is likely correct about the constitution not guaranteeing privacy, I think it would be wise to have more laws that do help guarantee privacy.

The Libertarian Party is all over the map individually on the issues. For example, many libertarians believe that we should have open borders, while others don't ( ... )

I don't know much about candidates, but most likely Hillary will be the next president. I can't say if she is better then Obama, but she is definetely better then Bush.
Bill Clinton was a pretty good president, although he bombed Serbia, and that I didn't support.
Republicans will probably lose, although candidate like Giuliani is not bad either.
