These strange sheep appeared while I was out and followed me around. They seem friendly enough, even though they kind of dissapeared while I was sleeping

Here I thought they were new replacements for unicorns.

I guess so. You could probably make some fun clothes with their wool.

Unicorns?

Fun. Yeah, that's one way to put it.

Virgins used to get unicorns sometimes here.

Other than sleeping, I believe no other method had been found to make them go away.

That makes sense. What did you try before?

Shooing, attempt at herding, baiting with food, and trying to run away.

I believe they are used for counting, but normally they are engaged in activities such as leaping fences. The few I have seen did not seem inclined to follow such pursuits.

Leaping fences? You think they can be trained to do that?

[pentaps.] No. They are sheep. However, traditionally, the means used to count sheep was to imagine them jumping over a fence. It was simply a mental exercise, tedious and repetitive enough to lull ones mind into a sleeping state.

I think it makes you so bored you fall asleep.

It sounds boring. I wonder why sheep though.
