Cookie fun!

So this weekend I tried to make Marshmallow Fondant. It turned out great, though a little boring in white, and then I tried cutting some shapes to try on my sugar cookies (which aren't pretty but they are tasty). All I had was a very bad knife, and at the time I was really exhausted, but this is what I did first:

I used this recipe:

I made only half the bag, and it made a fairly large sheet (I'd say about 8x8 inches with a good thickness), and a full recipe could easily cover a cake I think. I can't wait to try that. She does say for cakes you should do a buttercream layer first, so I need to learn how to make THAT.

My friend just used plain old out-of-the-can white icing. Any icing would do, I think, as an "adhesive."

And I don't think buttercream is that difficult - my momsie makes it...all I know is that it has cream cheese in it. I think.

But thanks for the link to the recipe, so I can gives it to my friend. :D
