No update in September, what must you think of me?
It's been a busy time and I haven't actually had that much time to sit down at the PC and play. I can't remember the last time I logged onto IRC, either, and I haven't been running the chat programs as often as I usually have done. It's obviously finally happened - I've got a life.
The biggest highlist of the last few weeks was definately England beating Australia in the ICC Champions Trophy. And we didn't just beat them, we beat them by yards. So it's off to the final on Saturday against the West Indies. They beat us earlier in the summer in the one-day format of the game, but that was when England were fielding a weaker side. Now we've actually put specialist batsmen and bowlers (Paul Collingwood and Alex Wharf, instead of Ricky Clarke...) in the side, it's looking a lot brighter. Out inability to win without Flintoff is worrying, but only mildly so as long as he remains fit, and I've every confidence that we'll lift the trophy on Saturday.
The shed hasn't arrived yet. It's being delivered next Thursday, and Jane will be in all day waiting for it. Oh, the guilt.
