So, a friend of mine at work thought his £2000 projector was broken. He'd had it a couple of years, though, and so he went out and got himself a much better one for around £800 - bargain. However, it turns out that the old one wasn't actually broken at all, just misconfigured (if I say "No colour", who can tell me what was wrong with it...?). So,

Does your friend know that you've fixed it? Are you going for a "I'll take it off your hands for a tenner line?"

He already knew when he gave it to me that it was actually working, he just didn't figure it out until after he'd bought the new one.

And yes, I've definately decided to buy it. Hurrah!
