so I'm doing one of those "looking back a year ago to see what the hell I was writing about" thing today. Last year was filled with Bill Simmons's posts about the Pats beating the Colts (good memories), apparently 'hating snow' (don't have to worry about that in the Confederacy- just insane winds - which I guess is all over the East Coast right

my 'cover' job is a company called American Power Conversion. Miss Berman works there, actually. I sent a resume to her, she put it in - had a phone interview - they flew me up last weekend for the interview - I found out on Monday - Start 2/6.

That pretty much sums it up.

what would you be doing?

they sell battery backups, uninteruptable power sources, and storage units for computer systems, servers, and technology stuff. I would be on the phones, answering incoming calls from customers, and dealing with technical issues/helping them buy further products.
