I had been wondering if your "barfing dog" haiku had something to do with the sad haiku and your absence from LJ. I'm really happy to hear Fae is doing better! ^__^

Ah. . . well, other than that I thought maybe you'd abandoned LJ in favor of FB. Seems like that's everyone's thing these days. Much as I might wish for things to go back to chatting on IM or something. . . I know that's not going to happen for various reasons.

I miss IM chatting! Sadly, life is too busy at the moment. And not showing any signs of letting up any time soon. Hate that. =( I'm still hoping to break this writer's block -- and SOON(!!). Things have been making me a bit crazier than usual on that score, but ... *sigh* ... Again, the old story of having too much work around the house, all of which I seem to be responsible for. Ugh.

I'm so relieved and happy Fae is doing better. She's a pinhead, but I love her. LOL I'll be really glad when next Friday rolls around and she can resume life as usual. That will be a HUGE relief. A 4-week recovery time is hard with an active dog. >.O

Poo, I haven't peeked my head in for quite some time either. I've gotten a lot more hours at work (good $$), but that's been really wearing me down. Been dealing with one of our cats getting allergic to flea bites. Yay. And then it seems I've picked up an allergy myself, that makes my eyes hate me. Ugh.
So all work and no play is making me a sad, tired mess.

I hope Fae gets back to normal and can do all the doggy things she loves to do, soon.

Yay for more hours, but sucky that they have to take away your down time. But that's always the way of things, isn't it? Life can be peskily annoying that way. Grrrr. >.O

I've been very absent from LJ. For lots of reasons. Too much to do ... too little time. Too much depression, making me not feel like writing about anything. Too much writer's block making me more nutso than usual. And on and on and on ...

But I feel horrible when I do come here to check in only to find that many of my friends are suffering from hard times in their lives. Makes me feel like I should have been a better friend to them. *shame*
