So is Denzel's version of Man on Fire, though again, never seen the original.

Depending on how you define remake, Bruce Willis' Last Man Standing is basically a remake of Clint Eastwood's A Fistful of Dollars, which is in turn a remake of Kurosawa's Yojimbo...
Come to think of it, The Magnificent Seven is also a remake, of Kurosawa's The Seven Samurai.
