Hiya all, not a lot of time today, but I wanted to share a quick update here. My shop has had an armed robbery! I wasn't there, female member of staff on when a man comes in with an eight inch knife in one hand and cleaver in the other, took the notes from the till and left. Police said its the third place he has robbed this week, always targeting

Am glad the girl was okay - it must have been very scary - and I hope the police (or the family) catch the bastard and string him up.

Wasn't A, or you'd hear in the news "Basingstoke woman slaughters dangerous armed robber - police say they've never seen so much blood". Unfortunately for the armed robber, it was a much more timid member of her family that he scared, she won't let that rest. Could probably find him on her own, but will probably let the police catch him, although she will give them any news she can find out and a lot of people who wouldn't ordinarily give info are willing to help in this case cos of her, robbed anywhere else and it would take them much longer. XXX
