Please take the time to read this entire letter. I believe it is the best view of the current world situation I've read AND it is neither biased towards Conservatives or Liberals. This is your journal just as mine is mine. i've learned if it's important {to ME} i don't put it behind an LJ cut. i only put it behind an LJ cut if i really don't want folks to read it or if it's a meme/quiz thing. i had friends who put polls behind cuts just to see who went behind the cut. People seldom did. Thus why i will use the "cut" as a way of "hiding" something.

Thanks for sharing the letter. i read through it but it hasn't really sunk in as i got up early, it's late, and i'm not usually an early riser.

Oh! BTW ... Master is going out of town on the 28th. Will you be having your surgery near where ya'll live or down here by your parents? i'd love to keep whispy company after i take Master to the airport. And He's agree'd and is happy for me to meet wit her again.

The surgery will be in Plano. I will have whispy send you an e-mail with the details, unless you'll have time to talk, and in that case I'll have her give you a call. Just let us know which would be best. I'm glad to hear that you'll be allowed to visit with her. It makes Me feel better knowing that she'll have someone to talk with (besides parent type people).

i can only relay two thoughts that really stuck out for me upon reading this:
(1) BooHoo that we may not get to be number one anymore when 192 other countries haven't been number one in decades. I think this is a ridiculous reason to preempt war, personally. Let's not have the Tour de France anymore since Lance Armstrong is surely to win forever and ever.
(2)The majority of Muslims don't envy us. They genuinely hate us. When we build McDonalds in their cities, they boycott and then take them down. When we try to impose our way of life and our God Given ideals of freedom and democracy, they just rebel. They don't envy us; they don't want to be anything like us. We just can't comprehend that because we think we're the best.
