the definition of "bigot" also has within its definition (at least in MY dictionary) the phrase "even against evidence disproving their claims".

You are a bigot against people who are different. You don't understand them. You don't understand gay people. As a gay person myself, I will tell you that I look for in a man the same thing that you look for in a woman. Exactly that. And why should you care? you shouldn't.

I am a "bigot" against people who are bigoted. You don't tolerate differences, and I don't tolerate intolerance. I don't tolerate intolerance based on ignorance. You should learn more about what you are talking about before you judge others.

I said I'm a homophobe. That means I'm extremely afraid and distrustful of homosexuals, both male and female. However, i'm dating a bisexual. I AM trying to be tolerant. No I don't really care what other people do so long as I and my girlfriend are not included.

I am against that lifestyle choice on a moral ground and because, frankly, I find it disgusting. Not just because I was told as such, but because I had a cousin that was drawn into that lifestyle by a man who raped him at a very young age. I don;t trust homosexuals *shrug*. Doesn;t mean I hate the person though...just the act...just the desire. The same with most sins.

I joined this community to defend Texas...not to defend my point of view on homosexuality. You can call me a close minded bigot all you want...but who was judging who first? When I said I was a homophobe I was admitting I had a problem.
