I have an upcoming trip planned to Central and Eastern Europe. My aim is to hit two cities each in Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary. It's an eight day trip total, and just might be my last. I have Halloween weekend off, which was intended to be for Bulgaria, but I'm not sure if I'll have the money for that one. -

August 12 Monday: Mallorca
Mallorca is paradise. Today was our rental car day, and last day, so we drove across the southern part of the island to Porto Cristo, on the very eastern edge. We went to the Cuevos del Drach, or Dragon Caves, which were interesting, though overcrowded. Friday August 7: Mallorca
I'm in Santa Ponca, a small town on the outskirts of Palma de Mallorca, the capitol and largest city on the Spanish island of Mallorca. Our hotel is the Playa del Rey, with a balcony that looks into the balconies of the apartment next door, and together we have a view to the beach. The Monthly Travel Update
This seems to be a monthly theme.
July 27-August 2: My parents will be here! Maybe. That's what we're planning at least. Travel around lower Germany when they're here.
August 6-10:Mallorca! Flying in to Palma, then we'll rent a car (they're super cheap) and drive to Puerto Cristo, which is supposed to be less crowded and have rocky beaches.

Egypt Journal: Cairo May 18 Monday and May 19 Tuesday
Itinerary thus far:
Thursday: Descend Mt. Sinai, snorkel The Island and Eel Garden w/'Amr. Dinner at Funny Mummy (kebab halla, fakhfahina) and opening party at Mojito.
Friday: Trish tries diving class, I do Intro Dive. Drinks at ROof Bar w/ Aussie kid Michael from the mountain, then "cookout" at Lagun with Jesse, Mido and 'Amr. Met Mido's father ( Read more... ) -
Egypt Journal: May 14 Thursday
8:30 a.m., sitting outside St. Catherine Monastery, waiting for our Bedouin tour guide "Mountain Tiger" to pick us up and take us back to Dahab. Jesse and I just descended Mt. Sinai, or Moses Mount as it's known here. We were picked up at 10:45 last night, started hiking around 1 a.m., and she made it up at 3:30 and I arrived at 4:30. The sun ( Read more... ) -
