Theatre 12

Oh hello, I didnt see you there, you caught me mending my fences.

I've viewed a pretty fair amount of movies so far this summer, both in the movie theatre and in DVD form. And since i'm bored I shall now rank them for your reading pleasure, or displeasure perhaps:

1) Waiting (DVD) - Solid comedy, with good actors and nice story (even though it's kinda hidden). A+

2) Mission: Impossible III (Theatre)- Enjoyable movie with an easy to follow plot. Probably better than the 2nd one, and very closeto the 1st. A-

3) Over the Hedge (Theatre)- Had a little something for everybody. Steve Carrell (sp?) was spectacular as was that black lady who feels the need to shout everything to make it funnier. You know, the one. A-

4) Teaching Mrs. Tingle (DVD)- A very pleasant surprise from the DVD collection of Kenz. Gets bonus points for having Katie Holmes. Negative points for making me think of Dawson Creek and getting the song stuck in my head. B.

5) The Da Vinci Code (Theatre)- I didnt get what Tom Hanks was trying to do as Langdon. It really made me disappointed that I read the book beforehand cause I tried to block it out of my head most of the time and it made it more enjoyable. Also, Ron Howard is near sighted, or far sighted, whichever it is, cause the number of UCUs (Unnecessary Close Ups) was staggering. Not nearly as bad as Cinderella Man, but it stil made ya dizzy. C+

6) When A Stranger Calls (DVD)- 85 minutes of "WHAT WAS THAT?!?! Oh...nothing" and exactly one legitimate "Scary moment". D.

30) X-Men 3 (Theatre)- I have it as number 30 because I've guesstimated about how many movies I'll see this summer and threw this one alllll the way to the bottom. It was probably a combination of the fact that it was 1 in the morning, the theatre was 85 degrees and the fact I cant stand comic books., but this movie was horrible. Bonus point for giving me a perfectly valid reason to never watch the first 2. Negative points for sucking.
F--.

Oh and my car randomly got TPed cause they thought it belonged to the house I was parked in front of. They were wrong.
