My nose still isn't cooperating fully with me, but I am feeling much better. I danced a lot at that party and am convinced it helped...hehe

Wow, Jen you are a braver girl than I ever was pre-Michael. Had I been crushing on that guy I wouldn't have spontaniously gotten into his car. But my flirting skills would have gotten me into that car eventually. Sorry to hear he got you confused with another girl. I hope he becomes a good friend.

I don't have any flirting skills whatsoever. Or, if I do, they're not very good...hehe. The whole thing reminded me of Transformers. The guy in the movie asks the girl, "Don't you want to say you had the guts to get in the car?" Surprisingly, I had the guts.

Does that make me a Gryffindor? hehe

Very cute Jen! You handled it perfectly - I hope you're friends now.

I had the same thing happen to me in reverse when I was a Jr. in college. I'd met a cute senior guy named Josh at a bar one night, and a week later saw him again at a party. We talked for a while and it was getting late and suddenly a couple of his friends came up and said "hey Josh, you going back to the Quad?" The Quad is where the freshman lived. Turns out I'd mistaken this guy (also named Josh) for the Senior Josh I'd met a week earlier. When I'd come up and said hi and acted all friendly, he'd just gone along with it. We actually did become friends for a while because of that.

Thanks. I thought I handled it well. I figured it was a good opportunity to look at his myspace page...hehe. Now I'm curious to see how he reacts to me the next time I see him. It probably won't be for at least another week.

I liked your story. It's so much fun when things like that happen. ;)
