so im preparing to turn my computer into a recording studio....its gonna cost some money...itll definetely be an investment...and just as im gettin ready to do something to help benefit my future..i tell the rents about it thinkin they will be for it and happy to see me pushin it to the next stage, my mother as usual desides she doesnt want it on

Okay this is going tosound weird but I had a dream the other day and you were in it for a few minutes, so when I woke up I thought "Jonathan should update his lj"...maybe you read my mind? Ha.

I think your mom's just scared of technology in general... it took her long enough to figure out how to work the computer you have right now (and she still messes with stuff). I think if one day you just replaced the computers she'd never notice. Talk to your dad about it, he's always been up for pushing your career forward. Also, let me know if you need anything - perhaps we can steal one of my dads laptops and you can have a travelling studio! You know I'll do all I can to help you pursue your dream (maybe its my way of living out my dream "of actually being able to sing" through you - haha).
