Thump, thump, thump, thump, thump, thump, thump. Pause. I could feel my eyelids attempt to open. Things were hazy and I had been deep in my sleep. Oh, that is SO not one of my favorite Mommy moments when they wake me up in the middle of the night. Since they expend enough energy throughout the day to light up the city of Houston WHY can't they sleep all night and maybe even sleep in???

Your story gave me a good chuckle and reminded me to look on the bright side when I hear the things that go thump in the night at our house too!

I'm not the only one who gets woken up in the wee hours of the morning? Good to know!
Good to hear from you on your blog again!

Hi,
I just wanted to say I really enjoy reading your blog. I think I got connected to it through Kristin Logsdon's blog somehow but anyhow I look forward to reading about your family adventures. It's inspiring to hear all your stories and how you deal with being a mommy for so many precious children. I can imagine that it's an incredibly wonderful, crazy and exhausting life and I appreciate the humor and perspective you find in it all. Many blessings to you and your family.
